Silver in My Change Today!

Today I received this in my change from lunch. It's a 1937 Silver Washington Quarter. The cool thing about this coin is that it's actually made of 90% Silver, 10% Zinc. Not too many of these floating around in circulation anymore.  It's pretty worn, but that only adds to the allure of this 73 year old coin!

It's amazing how the prices of precious metals used to be so low that making a 25 cent piece of out of silver was actually possible.
